At the Alabama Power Foundation, we focus our resources on: Improving education, Strengthening communities, Promoting arts and culture, Restoring and enhancing the environment.

Alpha Foundation 
The Alpha Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to improving the human condition. To this end, Alpha will select organizations to which grants will be made that further this objective. An emphasis will be placed on grants to educational, scientific and charitable organizations. A major focus of Alpha's support is biotechnology to aid in the discovery and cure of diseases.

BBVA Compass foundation 
The BBVA Compass foundation is a non–profit organization, created with the specific goal of contributing to the comprehensive development of society. Black Belt Community Foundation 
The Black Belt Arts Initiative is a partnership with the BBCF, Youth & Cultural Committee of the Black Belt Action Commission, and the Alabama State Council on the Arts (ASCA,) promotes artists, arts awareness, and creativity in the Black Belt. Central Alabama Community Foundation 
The Central Alabama Community Foundation makes grants that will improve the quality of life in the Central Alabama region. Community Foundation of Calhoun County 
The Foundation views its mission in partnership with nonprofit, community based, governmental agencies, faith–based and grassroots organizations as integral to the social well–being of our community. The Community Foundation of Calhoun County is a public charity for the benefit of residents in its geographic area, namely Calhoun County and northeast Alabama.

Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham 
Areas of funding interest include Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health, Human Services/Strengthening Families, Supportive Communities.

Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama 
The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama will leverage and use philanthropic resources to foster a region where residents have access to medical care, where quality education is supported and valued and where people care for one another. Areas of funding interest include Education, Community and Economic Development, Health, Safety and Wellness, charitable activities of the Churches of Christ within the State of Alabama.

Community Foundation of South Alabama 
A variety of grants are available to nonprofits that have a 501(c)(3), government entities and religious organizations that are located in the following counties: Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, Conecuh, Washington, Choctaw, Escambia and Monroe. The Foundation makes grants to non–profit organizations in the fields of arts and recreation, education, social services, health, community, civic, environment, and others.

Community Foundation of Southeast Alabama 
The central role of a Community Foundation is making grants to non–profit organizations. Grants from address a wide variety of needs in the five–county Wiregrass area: Arts, culture and the humanities, Quality of life, Health and Human services, Environment, Economic development, Education, Religion.
