Barking Foundation - Scholarships - Maine 
The Barking Foundation is a private, non–profit foundation that provides grants for accredited post–secondary education of meritorious State of Maine residents, based on their demonstrated financial need.

Black Greek Scholarships for Books and Supplies 
All students with a minimum 2.0 GPA or C Average in any accredited college or university that has a Greek Social setting may apply. Each Applicant will be asked to fill out a one–page application, provide a copy of their current school registration and transcript, and write or photocopy their school’s “hazing policy”.

CaptainU 2000 Student-Athlete Scholarship 
CaptainU, the leading college sports recruiting company, is sponsoring a $2000 sponsorship for student–athletes to get free money for college. The $2,000 CaptainU Student–Athlete Scholarship is open to all student–athletes Freshmen through Seniors Junior College who plan to attend a 4 year college.

Carver Charitable Trust 
The great majority of grants are given to organizations located in, and for projects to be conducted within, the state of Iowa and portions of Illinois, as well as to other organizations in which Mr. Carver had an interest during his lifetime. Generally speaking, the Carver Trust supports biomedical and scientific research, scholarships, and programs addressing the educational and recreational needs of youth.

Charles & Lucille King Family Foundation - Television or Film Major Scholar... 
The Charles & Lucille King Family Foundation was established in 1988 to support individuals, institutions and organizations committed to educational excellence and professional development. To that end, in addition to the Broadcast Education Association, the Foundation has established several other ongoing grant and scholarship programs.

Chicana/Latina Foundation Scholarship Fund

Coleman A. Young Foundation Scholarship Program 
Coleman A. Young Scholars Program sponsors 4 year, renewable scholarships with a total value of $16,000, payable in annual $4,000 increments. Program focuses on assisting Detroit minority youth.

Community Foundation of the Verdugos - California 
The Community Foundation of the Verdugos provides scholarships to students within the geographic area served by the Foundation: Burbank, Glendale, La Crescenta, La Cañada Flintridge, Montrose, and Verdugo City. Scholarships using the General Application forms are due March 5, 2010 (this is on the application). Scholarships that have their own application will have their own deadlines.
