African Women's Development Fund

The African Women's Development Fund supports organizations that further the work of the African women's movement. Currently, AWDF funds women's organizations that focus on capacity–building through strengthening existing projects and national or regional civil society organizations engaged in women–specific projects. AWDF provides technical assistance and capacity–building grants. Funding is limited to organizations that have been in operation for at least three years and women–led organizations. It does not fund individuals, political parties, government agencies, scholarship/fellowship funds, or organizations that aim to convert people to any specific religious belief. |

The Arcus Great Apes Fund – The Arcus Great Apes Fund supports conservation efforts that promote the survival of the Great Apes in the wild and sanctuaries that offer safety and freedom from invasive research and other forms of human exploitation. Support from this fund is limited to activities that specifically impact gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, bonobos and/or gibbons. |
