The Assisi Foundation of Memphis, Inc. (The Foundation) supports innovative and established programs that address the needs of Mid-South residents in the categories of: Healthcare and Human Services, Education and Literacy, Social Justice/Ethics, Cultural Enrichment and the Arts. The Foundation considers grant applications from nonprofit organizations that provide services in the Greater Memphis area: Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton Counties in Tennessee; Crittenden County, Arkansas; and Desoto County, Mississippi.

The King Foundation distributes grants only to entities that serve residents of Arkansas and Texas. In pursuing its goals, the Foundation is committed to the support of nonprofit organizations and institutions that demonstrate sound financial management, efficient operation, program integrity and an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Sunderland Foundation makes grants annually to publicly supported charitable organizations with tax exempt status under section 501 [c] 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
