Alleghany Foundation      
The Foundation is organized for charitable purposes, priority is given to qualifying organizations serving the Alleghany County, Covington and Clifton Forge areas with an emphasis on new and different endeavors to improve the community's quality of life. Special considerations will be given to applications that demonstrate the ability to leverage Foundation funding with public and other ongoing financial support. The Foundation has awarded $27 million in grants in the areas of healthcare, education, recreation, economic development, arts & humanities, historic preservation and social and community services.

Andersen Corporate Foundation      
Andersen Corporate Foundation has expanded its giving to the many communities where Andersen has facilities and employees, including Menomonie, Wisconsin; Des Moines, Iowa; Dubuque, Iowa; Page County, Virginia; North Brunswick, New Jersey; and London/Huron, Ontario, in addition to the St. Croix Valley Area, Western Wisconsin and the East Metro area of St. Paul. Areas of funding interest: Affordable Housing, Health & Safety, Education & Youth Development, Human Services, Civic Support. Deadlines for submission of proposals are April 15, July 15, October 15, and December 15.

Arlington Community Foundation      
We welcome grant applications from nonprofit organizations seeking to undertake new work or to continue or enhance programs already underway. The Arlington Community Foundation has competitive grant programs for nonprofits serving Arlington through its Community Enhancement Grants Program, for educational initiatives through the Educational Grants Program, and the Prompt Response Fund. We do not currently seek proposals for funding from donor-advised funds.

Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County       
Grants are made to tax-exempt public charities under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and to government agencies. Grants are limited to projects in the Harrisonburg or Rockingham County area. Generally, proposal deadlines will be around April 1st and October 1st of each. An organization may not apply for a grant more than once in a calendar year.
