| The Daniels Fund Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, as well as programs with a national impact (national grants are by invitation only). The program areas eligible for grants through the Daniels Fund are: Aging; Alcoholism & Substance Abuse; Amateur Sports; Disabilities; Education; Early Childhood Education (K-12 Education Reform, Ethics and Integrity); Homeless & Disadvantaged; Youth Development. The funds are allocated geographically according to the following percentages: Colorado 65% (50% in Metro Denver, 15% in balance of state), New Mexico 10%, Wyoming 10%, National programs (by invitation only) 10%, and Utah 5%. |

Dickinson Foundation grants will normally fund scholarships, research, capital projects and Board-defined programs sponsored by established institutions with 501 (c)(3) status. Grants will not be given in support of political campaigns, government organizations, private individuals or shareholders, broad social programs, environmental causes and the like. Grantees must be located in, or the areas around, San Diego, California; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Portland, Oregon; or Honolulu, Hawaii. |

| The mission of the Foundation for the Protection of Animals is to promote responsible human interaction with animals for their protection and welfare. The Foundation strongly believes that encouraging proactive, responsible pet ownership is the key to ending the suffering of homeless animals. Currently the Foundation is working to further its mission through the funding of spay/neuter programs and participation in animal rescue operations during national or man-made disasters. In 2010 the Foundation for Protection of Animals will be funding spay/neuter programs in the states of Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico only. Priority will be given to projects with quantifiable outcomes that seek to mitigate the suffering and euthanasia of homeless cats. Please submit grant proposals by mail only. |
