Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
| Guided by the revised Philanthropic Framework, the Foundation has modified our grantmaking practices. With these new criteria in place, the Foundation no longer limits our grantmaking through traditional focus areas—education, health, youth and community and economic development. We believe this change will create more flexibility in our grantmaking. Instead, during the coming years the Foundation will place emphasis on: General Operating Support for Organizations, Nonprofit Effectiveness, Advancing Public Will and Innovation. |

Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia
| The Community Foundation seeks to leverage opportunities in the region where a moderate amount of grant money can achieve a significant result. We look for proposals from organizations with a well-planned approach to issues and needs, with a demonstrated base of support, committed leadership, and the involvement of individuals with the skills necessary to carry out the work. We are interested in those organizations that can demonstrate that they have planned their projects in light of overall community need. The fields of interest covered by our grants are social services, education, community and civic affairs, arts and culture, and health. |

Halle Foundation
| The Foundation supports new and innovative projects which further its mission of promoting knowledge and friendship between the people of Germany and those of the United States. The Foundation relies on the requesting organization to fully organize, staff, and execute any projects for which grants are requested. As a matter of general policy, the Foundation does not support budget relief of previously established organizational projects, even if those projects fit within the Foundation’s mission. In keeping with the founder’s preference, most U.S. grants are made to organizations and institutions operating within the state of Georgia. |
