Bush Foundation
| The Bush Foundation is an independent, private foundation that focuses its grantmaking on Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. We improve the quality of life in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and in the 23 sovereign tribal nations that share the same geography by strengthening organizational, community, and individual leadership. In 2008, the Foundation chose three Goals for a Decade that we intend to pursue for at least the next decade: Develop Courageous Leaders and Engage Entire Communities in Solving Problems; Support the Self-Determination of Native Nations; Increase Educational Achievement. |

Irwin Andrew Porter Foundation
| The Foundation provides funding for a variety of interest areas. The quality, innovation, thoughtfulness and effectiveness of a project are of more importance than the specific interest area. That said, areas of interest for IAP are the arts, education, environment and social programs. IAP limits its consideration to projects within Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Michigan. |
