Animal Assistance Foundation

| Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations located in Colorado or directly benefiting Colorado pet owners. Grants for long-term funding, endowment funds, or retirement of debt will not be considered. AAF is interested in making grants that demonstrate new approaches to animal care and the understanding of the importance of animals. Priorities are to promote the welfare of animals regarding (1) accessibility to care, (2) quality of care, and (3) self-sufficiency of animal care organizations. |

The program areas eligible for grants through the Daniels Fund are: Aging; Alcoholism & Substance Abuse; Amateur Sports; Disabilities; Education; Early Childhood Education (K-12 Education Reform, Ethics and Integrity); Homeless & Disadvantaged; Youth Development. The funds are allocated geographically according to the following percentages: Colorado 65% (50% in Metro Denver, 15% in balance of state), New Mexico 10%, Wyoming 10%, National programs (by invitation only) 10%, and Utah 5%. |
