| The mission of the Armstrong McDonald Foundation is to continue the philanthropic ideals and goals of James M. McDonald, Sr. through prudent and impartial review of all qualifying grant requests received annually to insure that awards are made to soundly conceived and operated non-profit organizations. Areas of funding interest include Animal Welfare, Children and Youth, Education, Health, Relief and Social (community outreach, homeless shelters, shelters for abuse women and children), Special Needs. Effective December 2008, the Armstrong McDonald Foundation will only accept unsolicited grant requests from those IRS approved non-profits listed on the Pre-Approved for Grant Submission List. All other IRS approved non-profits desiring to submit a grant request to this foundation must meet three qualifications. |
