| The African Women's Development Fund supports organizations that further the work of the African women's movement. Currently, AWDF funds women’s organizations that focus on capacity-building through strengthening existing projects and national or regional civil society organizations engaged in women-specific projects. AWDF provides technical assistance and capacity-building grants. Funding is limited to organizations that have been in operation for at least three years and women-led organizations. It does not fund individuals, political parties, government agencies, scholarship/fellowship funds, or organizations that aim to convert people to any specific religious belief. |
