Greater Texas Foundation
|
|
| The foundation specific purposes are (1) to engage in educational activities for the benefit of students attending school in the state of Texas and/or students who are residents of the state of Texas and (2) to provide educational funding through loans, scholarships, and other means. The foundation is especially interested in partnering with private foundations, public charities or other non-profit organizations whose primary purpose and programs are education-related. Proposals requesting funds to match federal, state, or other foundation grants for programs related to the Greater Texas Foundation’s focus areas are encouraged. The Greater Texas Foundation’s grant process begins with a letter of inquiry through the foundation’s online application process to determine whether the foundation’s present interests, guidelines, mission and funds permit consideration of the request. Unless otherwise indicated, no grant proposals/applications are accepted unless the request begins with a successful LOI. Letters of inquiry are accepted throughout the year. |
