$50,000 in Pro Bono Services Available for Nonprofit Organizations; DM Productions LLC Offers 2010 Grant

DM Productions LLC Will Award $50,000 in Pro Bono Services to a Nonprofit Organization. The Professional Services May Include Public Relations, Strategic Planning, Corporate Sponsorship, Branding, Dynamic Web Design, Grant Writing and Implementation Strategies.

President Barack Obama issued a challenge … asking all Americans to volunteer, to pitch in and to give back. Corporations also need to answer this call to action and provide their services pro bono to nonprofit organizations. DM Productions LLC and our team of professionals are doing this and joining the A Billion + Change campaign by providing our expertise and up to $50,000 in professional services pro bono to one nonprofit organization through our annual DM Productions Nonprofit Grant.

DM Productions was founded on social responsibility as a corporate culture. Each year, the company awards a nonprofit organization this grant to improve our communities and quality of life.

"With the economic downturn, hard-raised funds need to be focused on the nonprofits` target group," said marketing director Douglas Collins of DM Productions. "Socially minded corporations can provide many of the professional services needed to maintain and expand these organizations and help those in need."

In 2008, the Corporation for National and Community Service launched A Billion + Change as a three-year campaign designed to meet this challenge and redefine pro bono by expanding the tradition from the legal field to other professions including financial management, technology, organizational development, marketing, public relations, branding, human resource management and fundraising.

Fifteen years ago, DM Productions introduced cause-related marketing to its client companies and encouraged them to select one or more nonprofit organizations and, through their involvement, change the way the world works, lives, plays and learns. Volunteering is an important way for DM Productions and its clients to build ties with the communities in which they work.

"People want to give back to the communities where they live," said communications director Dianemarie Collins of DM Productions. "As a company, you must encourage, recognize and support your employees in their volunteer efforts. It builds a stronger company, raises your standing in the community, and just plain feels good."

"We have also always understood that it's not just about giving money to worthy causes. It's about using our business expertise to make a difference," added Ms. Collins. "Now, I am encouraging other companies to define their social
responsibility by finding a cause, a nonprofit or charity, and applying their expertise where they are most needed."
