Dominion East Ohio is proud of the work being done throughout the communities we serve, and now it's time to recognize those social revitalization efforts. Your city or community could share in the $100,000 being awarded by Dominion for economic and social revitalization efforts. Funding for the awards comes from the Dominion Foundation, which is dedicated to the economic, physical and social health of the communities served by Dominion companies.

Guidelines:

Projects must have been completed between July 2008 and November 2009.
• Project must have made a major contribution to the economic or social revitalization of communities in northeast Ohio.
• Project must be located within the Dominion service area in Ohio.
• Organizations must be 501c(3), or have an eligible fiscal agent.
• On the summary page, please include a contact name, title, phone number, e-mail address, and complete mailing address.

To Enter:
Submit a brief summary—not more than three typewritten pages—of your project. Attach a copy of 501(c)3 with entry. You may include support materials, such as photo, press clippings or literature, that represent the project. No videotapes or DVDs, please. Submit all material in a three-ring binder.

Use the following strict judging criteria as a basis for your summary:
1.Name of your organization, a contact name, title, telephone number, e-mail address and complete mailing address, and a copy of your 501c(3).
2.Give a brief description/history of your community or organization.
3.Describe the project your community or organization completed to promote economic and/or social revitalization.
Include objectives, benefits, impact and measurable results and community interest/involvement. Include both quantitative and qualitative results.
4.To what extent did the project generate positive change and growth within its targeted area?
