Bell Atlantic Foundation
The goal of the Bell Atlantic Foundation is to provide opportunities for non-profit
organizations to apply new technology to the programs and services they offer, advance
their mission and give people in our communities the tools and means to improve their
lives and achieve their goals. Priority will be given to activities that facilitate
collaborations through network solutions and enhanced communications systems in the
following program areas: Education, Health and Human Services, Arts and Humanities,

Mary Owen Borden Foundation
The Foundation has limited its new funding to New Jersey's Mercer and Monmouth counties.
The primary focus on current giving is to address the needs of disadvantaged youth and
their families, and much of the Foundation's grants go to nonprofit entities in Trenton,
Asbury Park and Long Branch.

R. Dodge Foundation
Support for the Arts is primarily confined to New Jersey, with emphasis on those programs
that seek to establish and improve education in the Arts, foster conditions that promote
wide public access to the Arts, recognize the critical role of the individual artist,
enable developing institutions to gain stability, and help major institutions realize

The NBI Healthcare Foundation sees the safeguarding of the healthcare needs of the Jewish
community and the South Ward of Newark, New Jersey as two of our historic priorities.
The Turrell Fund
The Turrell Fund's main purpose is to support social and educational activities that will
contribute to the development of young people from families which could not afford these
services without help. The Fund supports programs located in the States of New Jersey and
Vermont. In New Jersey, the primary emphasis is on the needs of northern urban areas,
specifically Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union Counties.

The Union Carbide Foundation, a $10 million charitable trust, funds programs that address
education, cultural and ethnic diversity and environmental protection.
