Fund for Southern Communities - GA, NC, SC
The Fund for Southern Communities is a public foundation that supports and unites organizations and donors working to create just and sustainable communities that are free of oppression and that embrace and celebrate all people. Through grant-making and related activities the Fund for Southern Communities fosters social change initiated by community-based groups in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

St. Luke's Health Initiatives - Arizona
Since selling its hospital facilities, SLHI has used its financial assets to fund charitable activities and engage in public education activities as determined by the Board of Trustees following a study of community health needs and broad citizen input. Even though SLHI no longer operates a hospital system, its activities and community initiatives continue to be focused on the same principles of excellence, service and volunteerism that have characterized the St. Luke's tradition since 1907. Avon Foundation for Women - Women & Health - National & International Focus
The Avon Foundation’s first grant, more than half a century ago, was a single scholarship of $400. The Foundation’s main efforts are today focused on the critical issues of breast cancer and domestic violence, and Avon global philanthropy is advancing these causes in more than 50 countries. Elton John AIDS Foundation
The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) was established in the United States in 1992 by Sir Elton John. EJAF's U.S. office is located in New York City. In 1993, Sir Elton also established the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF-UK) in the United Kingdom, headquartered in London. These two organizations function as separate entities with their own distinct grant-making portfolios, but both pursue similar missions - to support innovative HIV prevention programs, efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, and direct care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.

The Verizon Foundation targets our philanthropic investments to partners and programs that achieve meaningful outcomes and measurable results in specific areas within each of our Funding Priorities. Grant applicants are required to select one or more outcomes and results for grants in each of our Funding Priorities. Areas of funding interest include Education, Literacy, Domestic Violence Prevention, Healthcare and Accessibility, Internet Safety. The Verizon Foundation reviews unsolicited proposals on a continuous calendar year basis from January 1st through October 31st.

Phoenix Thunderbirds Charities - Arizona
The mission of Thunderbirds Charities is to assist children and families, help people in need and improve the quality of life in our communities.
