The ARCO Foundation awards grants mainly in geographic areas where ARCO facilities and
employees are located -- the West, the Southwest, Alaska and the Rocky Mountain region.
Foundation grants are made in five program categories (education, community, arts and
humanities, the environment, and public information).ArtsREACH
ArtsREACH is a National Endowment for the Arts pilot program designed to increase the
level of direct NEA grant assistance to arts organizations in underserved areas. ArtsREACH
will provide modest grants to partnerships of cultural, business, social, government,
civic, and religious organizations.
California-Nevada-Hawaii
Foundation
Currently the Foundation has approximately 1.4 million in funds, and has distributed
in FY 92-93$106,000 in grants, scholarships, and awards.
Clorox Company
Foundation (Reno)
The Clorox Company Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in communities
where Clorox employees live and work. The Foundation makes grants, mobilizes employee
volunteers and works with community leaders and other funders

Kearney Area
Community Foundation
The KACF exists to enhance the quality of life in the Kearney area by directing
charitable funds to achieve the maximum benefit for the people of area communities. The
KACF works in concert with existing foundations and organizations to create a greater
awareness of charitable giving.
Pacific Bell Foundation
Emphasis: California and Nevada. Education, community initiatives, arts and culture.
Wells Fargo
Contributions Program
Wells Fargo's contributions are primarily directed to three areas: Community Development,
Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade education, Human Services. Priority is given to
requests whose primary purpose is to benefit low- and moderate-income individuals.
