The AbleNet Foundation has been created to enhance the lives of homebound
physically challenged individuals of all ages. Supporting growth, challenge, a positive
attitude and a productive way of life, AbleNet will offer education, employment, and
empowerment through social interaction and health / rehabilitation to those who may have
no other alternatives, opportunities or access. AbleNet will add value to the quality of
life for the disabled, the care givers, and everyone involved in the success of the

Blowitz-Ridgeway
Foundation - 1999 - 2000 RFP
The Blowitz-Ridgeway Foundation, a private Illinois foundation devoted to the
issues of children and health care, will provide grant support for one or more projects in
basic research on early childhood development. Support will be up to $50,000 per year for
two years and is open to both young PhD or MD investigators in tenure track positions, as
well as established PhD or MD investigators in tenured faculty positions, who are working
in U.S. universities or nonprofit research institutions.

The Grass Foundation
The Grass Foundation has supported independent research by young investigators in
the field of neuroscience. The Foundation provides fellowships for scientists at the
