Nonprofit organizations that are located outside the Chicago metropolitan area and in communities where Sara Lee has a facility, should submit grant requests to the local Sara Lee facility. |

Solano Community Foundation
|

| There are three granting programs at the Solano Community Foundation.
1. Unrestricted funds from the Foundation (the Education Plus! Mini-Grant Program), 2. Grants from Donors' Funds, and 3. The Seven Cities Fund, comprised of seven non-endowed Funds established by the Foundation, one for each of the seven cities in Solano County. An average of $1M is granted every year through donor advised Funds. Solano Community Foundation jump started 2008 with over $450,000 in grants in January alone. The vast majority of grants made by the Solano Community Foundation come from our donors (category 2, above). Each of these Grant Programs has its own page on this website.
