Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, Inc.        
The Lilly Foundation is a tax-exempt private foundation that awards cash grants to support philanthropic initiatives that are aligned with the company’s business strategy. The Lilly Foundation has three primary programs through which the majority of its grants are made: Discretionary Grants Program, Employee Matching Gifts Program, and Employee Volunteer Recognition Program. Grants are made to qualified organizations that improve patient outcomes, especially in Lilly’s therapeutic areas of interest; enhance the quality of life in communities in which Lilly has a presence, especially Indianapolis, Indiana; and improve education and educational opportunities, with a priority on science. In each of these areas, the Lilly Foundation places special emphasis on programs that address diversity.

John M. Lloyd Foundation        
The John M. Lloyd Foundation amplifies its funding through flexibility in supporting novel, entrepreneurial projects that have a high likelihood of affecting social change with regard to HIV/AIDS.

LA84 Foundation         
The LA84 Foundation awards grants in Southern California's eight counties: Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura. The Foundation serves all of Southern California, but gives special emphasis to Los Angeles, the city that hosted the 1984 Olympic Games. The Foundation seeks to serve the entire community, but gives special attention to groups and communities underserved by traditional sports programs, including girls, ethnic minorities, and the physically challenged and developmentally disabled. LA84 Foundation funds are primarily intended for the development of youth sports below the elite level.

Latino Community Foundation        
The Latino Community Foundation has undergone an intensive strategic planning process over the last two years. In 2004 we launched an exciting new initiative, Lee Y Serás ("Read and You Will Be") focusing on a critical concern-early childhood reading and our interest to promote literacy and parent participation. We also launched a new capital formation concept, The Isabela Project, to promote investment and increase viability of Latino small business. Both of these efforts continue to evolve in 2005 as we continue to refine our internal processes.

Legler Benbough Foundation        
The Mission of the foundation is to improve the quality of life of the people in the City of San Diego. To accomplish that mission, the Foundation focuses on three target areas for funding, one in the area of providing economic opportunity, one in the area of enhancing cultural opportunity and one that provides a focus for health, education and welfare funding. Within each of these focus areas, specific objectives are established on the basis of which grants are made. Lennon Family Foundation

Lilly Endowment, an Indianapolis-based, private philanthropic foundation, seeks to strengthen Christian congregations by providing an opportunity for pastors to step away briefly from the persistent obligations of daily parish life and to engage in a period of renewal and reflection.
