Housing for Everyone Grant Competition

We recognize that job training is essential to the development of employees and, in turn, the growth of any non-profit organization. But when non-profits are faced with making reductions to their operating budgets, one of the first items to be eliminated is education for employees.

To help remedy this situation, this year the TD Charitable Foundation will award $300,000 in grants to eligible organizations for employees to attend approved classes and courses that will enhance job performance.

Applications (complete with all required attachments) will be accepted on a rolling basis, and the TD Charitable Foundation will review requests monthly. Notification and payout of awards are usually made in the fourth week of each month.

Applications will be accepted from Monday, July 6, 2009 through Friday, September 4, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.

A total of $2,000,000 will be awarded in 2009 to local non-profit organizations that make a meaningful difference in meeting the affordable housing needs in their communities.

This year's theme is housing stabilization which will focus on the availability, protection and preservation of safe affordable housing.
