  • The RadioShack Neighborhood Answers Grant program - The RadioShack Neighborhood Answers Grant program is designed to offer answers -- answers that bring community impact through programs or projects conducted by local nonprofit organizations. Our program currently focuses on two areas: prevention of family violence/abuse and/or child abduction. Deadlines: RadioShack will conduct four grant award cycles: February, May, August and November. The independent foundation awards more than $4 million in grants each year. The 100 grants awarded average $44,000. Nonprofits that serve small town or rural areas with limited resources are eligible to apply for grants. Funding can be used for building renovations, emergency funds, endowments, general operating support, matching challenge support, and scholarship funds. The deadline for applications is 90 days prior to board meetings for the current quarter. The board meets in January, March, June and September.
