  • Aetna Foundation
    The Aetna Foundation's grant making is currently limited to proposals submitted by invitation only in selected communities of strategic importance to Aetna, addressing key issues approved by our board of directors.  Funding interests include: Health, Education, the Arts, Communities.

  • Alaska Science and  Technology Foundation
    We offer grants for small and large business development and research projects. We also coordinate a teachers grant program that encourages the development of the state science, math and statistics curriculum. Visit the "K-12 Schools" section for more information!

  • Amway Community
    Amway has provided financial and human support to more than 200 different community programs in the areas of human services, education, environment, arts and culture, and sports.

 
 
  • Double Your Sunshine Dollars on Focused Instruction Programs for Florida
    Peoples Education is proud to announce an exclusive Double Your Sunshine Dollars Program for our research-based Focused Instruction programs. This Double Your Sunshine Dollars Program is part of our initiative to ensure all students build reading strategies and mathematic skills. We understand that many students have different needs and more than ever it is critical for educators to be able to differentiate instruction in the classroom to meet those needs. The Focused Instruction programs target key areas in which students need extra help: content-area reading, vocabulary, and mathematics problem-solving allowing teachers to focus on the specific needs of their classrooms.

    Up to $3 million will be available for the Double Your Sunshine Dollars program. A series of program approvals will be awarded to successful applicants. A customer must submit an application for a minimum application of $2,000 of Focused Instruction program materials. For example, if you apply for $2000 worth of materials, you would pay $1000 and Peoples Education would pay $1000.There is no application maximum. Application deadline is August 31, 2007

  • The Annenberg Foundation
    The current grantmaking focus of this private foundation is on pre-collegiate education, and specifically on public school restructuring and reform, grades K through 12. These areas are of particular interest: Public Education, K-12, Early Childhood Education in relation to public education at the primary level, Child Development and Youth Services.

  • Atascadero Education Foundation   - California
    It has been recognized that there are numerous cases of AUSD teaching staff who desire to plan, develop and implement various innovative activities, events or special projects for their students that go unrealized due to insufficient AUSD funds. In response to this situation, the AEF established an annual School Grant program to encourage AUSD teachers to pursue their dreams for their students. All AUSD schools are eligible to apply for grants. Grant applications are distributed to all AUSD school sites at the beginning of each school year.

  • The Guidance Channel Zine - NEW Resource
    The Guidance Channel Zine is a monthly magazine focusing on the social, emotional and educational issues facing the K-12 population. Their audience is comprised of school counselors, teachers, administrators, parents, prevention specialists, and other mental health professionals.

  • Lee & Ramona Bass Foundation - Texas
    Inquiries in the form of brief letters describing the organization and the program or project will be considered from the following groups: Schools, colleges, and universities within Texas, with emphasis placed upon faculty development and liberal arts programs.  Community programs and projects, particularly related to the arts and the environment, such as museums, zoos, and educational/research institutions.  National and regional conservation programs.

  • Best Practices in Education  
    A not-for-profit organization dedicated to working with American teachers to find effective educational practices from other countries to adapt and apply in United States schools. We  sponsor innovative projects with tangible goals and facilitate their delivery to US classrooms in pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

  • Frank Stanley Beveridge Foundation 
    The Frank Stanley Beveridge Foundation, Inc. welcomes the opportunity to consider grant proposals from the following Institutional/Program Activity Areas: Animal Related, Arts and Culture, Civil Rights, Community Improvement, Conservation/Environment, Crime, Disasters/Safety, Diseases/Medical Disciplines - Multipurpose, Diseases/Medical Disciplines - Research, Education, Employment, Food and Agriculture, Health - General & Rehabilitative, Housing, Human Services, Mental Health, Crisis Intervention, Philanthropy/Voluntarism, Public Affairs and Society Benefit, Recreation, Religion, Science, Social Sciences, Youth Development.
