Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf 
Scholarships are awarded to prelingually deaf or hard-of-hearing students who use speech and speechreading to communicate, and who are attending or have been admitted to a college or university program that primarily enrolls students with normal hearing.  

Aid Association for Lutherans 
AAL's competitive scholarship programs are open to high school seniors and adults in all academic fields. To be eligible, you must be an AAL benefit member (AAL insurance or an AAL annuity). AAL associate membership $10 annual fee.

African Canadian Continuing Education Society (ACCES) 
works to assist students in Kenya receive the education they need through post-secondary scholarship aid.

Archbishop Oscar A. Romero Scholarship  
Boston College scholarship for students of Latino descent who best represents the values and ideals inherent in the life of Oscar Romero.

The ARCS Foundation  
The ARCS Foundation is a national volunteer women's organization dedicated to helping the best and brightest U. S. graduate and undergraduate students by providing scholarships in the natural sciences, medicine, and engineering.

Lena Chang Scholarship Awards   
The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation awards two annual scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each to ethnic minority students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate course work who can demonstrate financial need and academic excellence. The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation will award internships (instead of Lena Chang Scholarships) during 2000.

American Association of Hispanic Certified Public Accountant - Scholarships 
Our organization is dedicated to the advancement of Hispanics in the accounting profession. Consistent with this objective, the AAHCPA is granting scholarships to students who have demonstrated an interest in accounting. American Meteorological Association - Scholarships and   Fellowships  
In addition to AMS's society awards and medals, AMS presents AMS Industry/Minority Scholarships, MS/Industry Undergraduate Scholarships, AMS Undergraduate Scholarships, and AMS/Industry/Government Graduate Fellowships to the nation's future meteorologists, oceanographers, hydrologists, and climatologists each year.

American Welders Society: Scholarships  
You can apply for a $1,000 annual scholarship to complete your undergraduate studies at a Bachelorํs degree-granting institution. This scholarship is open to applicants residing outside the United States, Mexico, Canada, and are not assigned to an AWS section.

Arctic Institute of North America - Canada  
The Arctic Institute of North America offers several scholarships, grants and awards. 

The Arkansas Bar Foundation  
Each year, the Foundation awards approximately 35 endowed law school scholarships to students at the University of Arkansas Law Schools. The faculty of each university also is allotted three scholarships for students who show potential and who are deserving of financial award. These scholarships have produced fine lawyers who otherwise would not have been able to afford the costs of law school without the Foundation's help.

Assistance League of Houston: Scholarships

ASM International Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
Currently more than 40 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation which is supported by member contributions and other gifts. Most of these awards include a certificate of recognition, travel and housing allowances for attendance at the awards ceremony during the Society’s annual Awards Dinner. The ASM International Foundation Scholarship certificates are presented through local ASM chapters. 

The ASTA Scholarship Foundation, Inc         
The Foundation offers scholarships to the most qualified students in a bachelors, masters, doctoral, community college, or travel school program, and to travel professionals seeking to further their education. The site lists several scholarships.

Atsumi International Scholarship Foundation  
Scholarships for international students (Ph.D. candidates) studying in Japan.

Astronauts Scholarship Foundation   
Organization founded by the original Mercury 7 astronauts to strengthen the U.S. position in science and technology. Each year it awards over $140,000 to college students in science and engineering.

Avista Corp
Avista Corp.'s Mindpower Generation Scholarship Program provides six $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school students. These are one time awards to help students with the critical transition from high school to higher education. Funds may be credited toward tuition, books, fees or required supplies. Students must graduate from a high school or complete a home school program in eastern Washington and northern Idaho (plus Sanders County, Mt.)

Bedding Plants Foundation, Inc.

Black Student Fund  
The Black Student Fund awards tuition grants, in conjunction with our Participating Schools, to black children of modest financial means attending academically challenging institutions, grades pre-kindergarten through 12.

British Marshall Scholarship 
The awards allow recipients to study for a period of two or three years at undergraduate or graduate level at any university in the United Kingdom, in any discipline leading to the award of a British university degree. Each scholarship is worth approximately $25,000 per year.

Rudy C. Burrola Memorial Foundation 
Provides scholarships to student athletes from the Glendale Union High School District and Superior, AZ.

The Byrne Foundation  Denver   
The Byrne Foundation, a nonprofit tax-exempt organization, helps disadvantaged youths earn their high school diplomas through a combination of financial and personal support. The Foundation seeks to enable inner-city youths to compete more successfully for employment, become better qualified fore further education, achieve greater personal fulfillment, and contribute more productively to society.

California Masonic Foundation  
The California Masonic Foundation scholarships will be awarded to qualified California high school seniors graduating in May and June 2000. Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen and California resident for at least one (1) year.  High school senior for the 1999/2000 school year. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Attend an accredited 2 or 4 year institution if higher learning as a full-time freshman in Fall 2000. Need financial assistance to continue education.

All CMSF and Morehead Awards are open to any graduating student from any accredited high school or cegep in Canada. Students should intend to enter university in the fall following their graduation.

Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust  Iowa
The heart of the Carver Trust's scholarship activities continues to be the statewide Carver Scholars Program, which distributes over $700,000 annually to Iowa students who must struggle to overcome significant obstacles in obtaining a four-year college degree, and who often fall between the cracks of other financial aid programs.

Provides up to $30,000 payback for college costs.

Chattanooga Christian Community Foundation: Scholarships 
The scholarships are available to Christian men and women from the greater Chattanooga area who are theologically and biblically conservative and are seeking a Masters of Divinity or Masters of Theology degree at a theological seminary approved by the Foundation.

Chicago Engineers' Foundation  
The goal of the Chicago Engineers' Foundation of the Union League Club of Chicago, which was formed in 1965, is to encourage our city's young people, primarily high school age, to pursue careers in engineering. 

Children's Scholarship Fund

Christermon Foundation

Churchill Trust Fellowships - Australia  
The aim of the Churchill Trust is to give opportunity, by the provision of financial support, to enable Australians from all walks of life to undertake overseas study, or an investigative project, of a kind that is not fully available in Australia.

Contrary to popular belief, a Coca-Cola Scholarship has nothing to do with drinking Coke. It's a merit-based scholarship awarded to 150 high-school seniors each year. Fifty are $20,000 scholarships and the remaining 100 are $4,000 scholarships.

Community Foundation of Greater Memphis: Scholarships  
The Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship funds for Memphis area residents attending post-secondary institutions of higher education. Most of the funds have very specific eligibility criteria.

Colorado Restaurant Association Education Fund Scholarship 
Each year scholarships are awarded, ranging from $500 to $2,500, in support and recognition of these students. Junior and senior level college students enrolled in a two or four year degree program may apply. Scholarships are awarded on behalf of the Education Fund and participating corporate sponsors.  Since 1987, the Education Fund has administered over $120,000 in scholarships to over eighty young people.

Elks National Foundation Scholarships Program
The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3 million in college scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors. 

Engineering Scholarships - New York 
The winning student of Central Hudson's Engineering Scholarship must be a senior who is attending high school in Central Hudson's service area and living in the service area.   Engineering Scholarships provide $5,000 a year for four years.

Entente Cordiale Scholarships
Entente Cordiale scholarships are awarded to outstanding U.K. and French post-graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students - all subjects - to study or carry out research for an academic year on the other side of the Channel. Application and reference forms can be downloaded from the website.

ExploraVision
ExploraVision is a competition for students of all interest, skill, and ability levels in grades K-12. Goliard Scholarship for World Travel and International Understanding

Hispanic College Fund Scholarships  
The eligibility criteria and the new scholarship application for academic year 2000-2001 are now available. Must have been accepted or be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited institution of higher education actively pursuing an academic discipline leading to a career in business. Houston Endowment, Inc.  
The Houston Endowment Inc. funds the Jesse H. Jones and Mary Gibbs Jones High School Scholarship Program. Under this program, scholarships are awarded to graduates of Houston area high schools.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo assists more than 1,000 Texas students through college each year while bringing money and acclaim to the nation's fourth largest city.

Illinois Aid Programs 
Scholarships are usually based on academic or merit factors. Athletic or individual abilities may also qualify a student for a scholarship. Financial need is generally not a factor, and most scholarships do not need to be repaid.

Indian-American Scholarship Fund
The original goal of the Scholarship Fund was to provide financial assistance to good students who are in need of help. Over the past five years, IASF has steadily expanded its activities to include promotion of educational excellence. Institute for Humane Studies: Scholarships, Internships
The Institute for Humane Studies is a unique organization that assists undergraduate and graduate students who have a special interest in individual liberty. In 1997, IHS awarded over $450,000 in scholarships to 83 students from universities around the world. IHS also sponsored the  attendance of over 350 students from 19 countries at the summer seminar series.

Institutional Facilities Management Association

Lemmermann Foundation Scholarship

LIFE's Scholarships Palm Beach County, Florida 
LIFE is a not-for-profit charitable corporation founded in 1993 by Lois B. Pope to reward high school students in Palm Beach County, Florida for their unselfish acts of volunteerism. Those chosen for the LIFE Unsung Hero scholarship will receive a $10,000, paid directly to the educational institution for the recipient's tuition, books and required supplies.

Franklin Lindsay Student Aid Fund - Texas
Loans of up to $3,000 per academic year, but not exceeding an aggregate amount of $12,000 for the student's school career, may be granted to any worthy student, at the discretion of the Committee.

Lubbock Area Foundation
Offers several scholarship opportunities to students in the Lubbock area.

Magna for Canada Scholarship Fund
Private corporation extends information about its financial assistance to 10 Canadian students each year.

Making A Difference Foundation - Virginia

Maryland Bible College & Seminary Internet Scholarship

The Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation Scholarship

McDonald's - Scholarships 
McDonald's believes in tomorrow's youth. With the aid of our franchisees, Ronald McDonald House Charities and McDonald's is proud to sponsor two scholarship programs, HACER (Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources) and UNCF/Media Scholar Program (United Negro College Fund), aimed at helping minority youths achieve their college dreams.

McDonalds Tri-State Scholarships  
Students from the New York Tri-State area who plan to attend a United Negro College Fund institution are eligible for $1,000 McDonald's UNCF New York Tri-State Scholarships.

Microsoft National Minority Technical Scholarship  
To be eligible for a National Minority Technical Scholarship, the student must be a member of one of the following groups underrepresented in the software industry: African American, Hispanic, or Native American. To be eligible for the National Women’s Technical Scholarship, the student must be female.

Millennium Scholarship   Nevada 
You must complete high school with at least a 3.0 grade point average calculated using all high school courses.  The grade point average may be weighted or unweighted. (Beginning with the graduating class of 2004, the courses used in calculating a grade point average will change.)

Minority Geoscience Student Scholarship Program for Graduate Students
Qualifiers: A. United States citizens only. Permanent residents (green card) or applicants for U.S citizenship are not eligible. B. Verifiable ethnic-minority status as Black, Hispanic, or Native American (American Indian, Eskimo, Hawaiian, or Samoan).  C. Financial support is for FULL TIME students only, with demonstrable financial need, and enrolled in an accredited institution as a graduate student majoring (i.e., degree candidate) in geoscience, including the geoscience subdisciplines of geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth-science education. Requirements and Criteria for Selection: Applicants for the Rhodes Scholarship Program must be at least 18 years old and not more than 23 years old as of October 1 in the fall in which they apply. The Southern Scholarship Foundation
The SSF program is simple. A student is provided a room, rent-free, in a completely furnished home. The homes consist of approximately 17 people, but hold as many as 30 in the larger houses. Food, utilities, and other expenses are  paid by the students through a house bill.

The Special Libraries Association
