Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Announces Scholarship Competition for Community College Students Seeking Bachelor's Degrees.
The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program is designed to enable community college students to earn four-year degrees. The Cooke Foundation plans to award approximately thirty-five scholarships in the spring of 2004 for the 2004-05 academic year and will renew each award in subsequent years based on performance. Recipients may use the award at any accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. or abroad to pursue any four-year degree.

Applications Available for the 2004 Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
Sponsored by the Talbots Charitable Foundation, the Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund is a $100,000 scholarship program that awards five $10,000 scholarships and fifty $1,000 scholarships annually to women seeking a bachelor's or associate's degree later in life. Since its inception in 1997, the fund has awarded college scholarships to 330 women ranging in age from their late twenties to their early sixties.

Applications Available for 2003 Tylenol Scholarships for Students in Health. The 2003 Tylenol Scholarship will be awarding grants totaling $250,000 — ten $10,000 scholarships and 150 $1,000 scholarships — to outstanding students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in a variety of health- related fields.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities
offers scholarships designed to assist students who face a widening education gap. The goal of the program is to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who may need a hand getting and staying in college. Local chapters of RMHC operate the scholarship programs in their respective geographic areas with support from the global office of RMHC, local McDonald's restaurants, and other businesses and organizations in the community.
 

GreenPoint Financial Corp.
has announced that it is now accepting applications through the GreenPoint Foundation, the educational/charitable affiliate of GreenPoint Bank, for the 2004 GreenPoint Achiever (GPA) Scholarship Program. A total of 100 new scholarships — each worth up to $10,000 over a four-year period.

Beaumont Foundation Announces Guidelines for Grants of Toshiba Hardware. The Beaumont Foundation of America grants Toshiba branded equipment to support digital inclusion for underserved individuals. The Foundation has three distinct grant programs: ● Community Grants of technology equipment to community-based organizations ● Education Grants of technology equipment for schools ● Individual Grants of technology equipment directly to individuals.

Jewish Foundation for Education of Women Has Various Scholarship Programs Available.  The Jewish Foundation for Education of Women is a private, nonsectarian organization. It provides scholarship assistance for higher education to women with financial need within a 50-mile radius of New York City through several specific programs. The Foundation has two foundation-administered programs: Fellowship Program for Emigre Training for Careers in Jewish Education, Scholarships for Emigres in the Health Professions. Orphan Foundation Offers Scholarships for Foster Care Youth. The Orphan Foundation of America (OFA) is committed to helping parentless teens make the transition from foster care into independent adulthood. As part of its mission, the foundation provides opportunities for foster youth to continue their education through the OFA/Casey Scholarship program. 

The Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund have announced the establishment of the New Horizons Scholars Program to provide college scholarships to Hispanic and African-American students who have hepatitis C or are dependents of a person with the disease. The Theodore R. & Vivian M. Johnson Scholarship Foundation is a private, family foundation created in 1991 to provide scholarships and grants to deserving persons who lack the financial means to enable them to attend an institution of higher education.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - The scholarships are available on a competitive basis for community college, four-year college, and graduate students of Hispanic heritage. Awards generally range from $1,000 to $3,000.

The AXA Achievement Scholarship Program, conducted in association with U.S. News & World Report and managed by the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America, will provide $670,000 in annual scholarships to high school seniors throughout the United States. Fifty-two scholarship recipients, known as AXA Achievers, will be selected — one from each state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. All AXA Achievers will receive one-time scholarships of $10,000 each, and ten will be selected as national recipients, earning an additional one-time scholarship of $15,000, a computer, and the offer of an internship at an AXA office.

Rhys Glynn-Jones Memorial South Pacific Scholarship Program is a scholarship program for undergraduate students from the South Pacific who are currently enrolled at accredited higher education institutions in the U.S.   

The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, as well as students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs are designed to encourage African American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology. GreenPoint Financial Corp. has announced that GreenPoint Foundation, the educational and charitable affiliate of GreenPoint Bank, is now accepting applications for the 2002 GreenPoint Achiever (GPA) Scholarship Program.  GreenPoint Achievers scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must reside in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, or Staten Island, or Westchester, Nassau, or Suffolk Counties. Zenith Foundation - offers maritime training, scholarships, and environmental study programs for at risk youth in Washington State.

The Women's Sports Foundation is Accepting Applications for Grants and Scholarship Programs.

Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting
The Educational Foundation awards scholarships to women who are pursuing accounting degrees at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Nina Scholars Program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for individuals who would not normally receive traditional academic scholarships, and whose personal commitments and financial circumstances would preclude their attendance without substantial, long-term scholarship support.

Business and Professional Women Foundation
In 1999, the BPW Foundation received more than 1100 applications from qualified women and awarded 226 scholarships. The success of this program is measured in the success of the recipients. Ninety-nine percent of scholarship recipients complete their degrees and double their annual incomes.

The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation is one of the largest  sources of   scholarship aid in Southwestern New York. A majority of the scholarships are administered by the Foundation for the benefit of graduates of Chautauqua County high schools.

Hispanic Scholarship.com - allows users to search for scholarships offered to Hispanic students.

Inspiration Software Inc. will fund scholarships to defray the costs associated with attendance at a workshop, conference, or graduate course that focuses on visual learning and technology in education. Candidates must be educators in a K-12 public or private school. A minimum of one year of service is required. Twenty scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to qualified candidates. ASM International Foundation as various Scholarship and Awards Programs available. The foundation has the following undergraduate scholarship opportunities available: George A. The National Tourism Foundation Scholarship Program: In keeping with its commitment to education, in 2001 the Foundation will award more than $45,000 in scholarships and grants to outstanding students from colleges and universities across North America.

Association for Women in Science to Give Graduate and Undergraduate Awards. The Association for Women in Science offers graduate and undergraduate awards in the amount of $1,000 for women students pursuing careers in science.

Datatel Foundation
The Datatel Scholars Foundation announces the addition of two new scholarship opportunities and a matching grants program to the current program beginning in 2001. The Nancy Goodhue Lynch scholarship (one award of $5,000 for any student enrolled in a technology-related curriculum) and the Returning Student Scholarship (25 awards of $1,000 each for any student returning to school after a five-year absence), have been added to enhance the program. In order to be eligible, applicants must attend a Datatel client college or university during the year of the award. Orange County Community Foundation - California
Application due dates range from late February to mid-April. Avista Corp
Avista Corp.'s Mindpower Generation Scholarship Program provides six $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school students. These are one time awards to help students with the critical transition from high school to higher education. Funds may be credited toward tuition, books, fees or required supplies. Greenpoint Foundation
The Greenpoint Achievers Scholarship Program is open to GreenPoint Bank depositors or dependents of depositors. The scholarship program is managed by Scholarship Management Services, a department of Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America, Inc (CFSA). Siemens Westinghouse Science and Technology Competition
The Siemens Westinghouse Science and Technology Competition recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through research. ASM International Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
Currently more than 40 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation which is supported by member contributions and other gifts. Most of these awards include a certificate of recognition, travel and housing allowances for attendance at the awards ceremony during the Society’s annual Awards Dinner.
